Thomas Richter (born January 26, 1983 in Penzberg ) is a German ice hockey player who has been playing for the Herner EV from the league again since the 2015/16 season .

Career

Thomas Richter moved to ESV Bayreuth in 2001 after his time with the young eagles Mannheim , for whom he went on the ice in the ice hockey major league , the ice hockey regional league and the German junior league . In 2000 Richter played at the U-18 World Cup for the German U-18 national team.

For the 2002/03 season he joined the Augsburg Panthers , where the trained striker was only used in the second team. After two years with the second division Schwenninger Wild Wings , with whom he reached the playoffs, Richter switched to the mosquitos food for the 2005/06 season . There he contributed to relegation in his first season when he secured the relegation of Essen with his third goal of the season in the decisive game of the relegation round against EC Bad Tölz . During the following two seasons in Essen he was retrained from striker to defender by the then Essen trainer Jari Pasanen .

After the mosquitos went bankrupt, Richter signed a trial contract with the Lausitzer Füchsen in 2008 , which he left after only four missions. After he had spent the 2009/10 season in the Bayern League at ERV Schweinfurt , he returned to Moskitos Essen in the Oberliga West in 2010.

For the 2011/12 season he moved to EHC Dortmund . In the Elchen, Richter quickly became a leading player, moved to the regional league for the Herner EV in the 2012/13 season , where he and the team made it to the Oberliga West. For the 2013/14 season he then moved to Hamm to the polar bears and then again to the mosquito food in 2014.

Richter has been playing for the Herner EV again since 2015.
