Timo Dewin (born May 2, 1989 ) is a Belgian ice hockey player who has been playing for the Cold Play Sharks in the Belgian-Dutch BeNe League since 2018 .

Career

Timo Dewin began his career as an ice hockey player at Olympia Heist op den Berg . He made his Olympic debut at the age of 16 in the Belgian honor division . In 2009 he moved to league competitor HYC Herentals , with whom he won Belgian championships in 2012 and cup winners in 2012 and 2013 . From 2010 to 2012 he also took part in the North Sea Cup with his team . He then moved to the Dutch honor division with HYC Herentals . From 2015 he played with the club in the Belgian-Dutch BeNe League , which he won with the team in 2016. He also won the Belgian championship and cup double with HYC in 2016 and another championship in 2018. In 2018 he switched to league rivals Cold Play Sharks from Mechelen.

International
For Belgium, Dewin took part in the junior division of the U18 World Championships in Division III 2005 and Division II in 2006 and 2007 as well as in the U20 World Championships in Division II in 2008 and 2009 .

Dewin played with the men's national team at the World Championships in Division II in 2012 , 2013 , 2014 , 2015 , 2016 and 2017 , with the promotion from B to A group in Division II in 2012.
