Titular diocese of Claudiopolis in Isauria
Claudiopolis in Isauria ( Italian : Claudiopoli di Isauria ) is a titular bishopric of the Roman Catholic Church .
It goes back to a Christian diocese of late antiquity in the city of Claudiopolis (later called Ninica) in the Roman province of Cilicia or in late antiquity Isauria in southern Turkey. With today's courage it was about 80 km north-northwest of Seleukia on the Kalykadnos (today Silifke ). Remnants of the theater, the necropolis and individual spolia can still be seen today. It belonged to the ecclesiastical province of Seleucia in Isauria .
