Todd White (born May 21, 1975 in Kanata , Ontario ) is a former Canadian ice hockey player who played 696 games for the Chicago Blackhawks , Philadelphia Flyers , Ottawa Senators , Minnesota Wild , Atlanta Thrashers and among others between 1993 and 2011 New York Rangers has contested in the National Hockey League on the position of the center .

Career

The 1.78 m tall center played during his college days for the team from Clarkson University in the ECAC Hockey , a league in the game operations of the National Collegiate Athletic Association and was finally signed in 1997 as a free agent by the Chicago Blackhawks . In addition to seven NHL missions, the left-handed shooter was initially used with the Indianapolis Ice , a farm team in the International Hockey League . After 42 games in the National Hockey League, White was finally transferred to the Philadelphia Flyers in 2000 . Here, too, the Canadian could not prevail, so that at the end of the season he was signed as a free agent by the Ottawa Senators . In the Canadian capital, the attacker was a regular player until the lockout in the 2004/05 season.

After the lockout, during which he had played a game for the Swedish first division club Södertälje SK , White was committed by the Minnesota Wild . From the 2007/08 season he played for the Atlanta Thrashers . On August 1, 2010, he was given in exchange for Patrick Rissmiller and Donald Brashear to the New York Rangers . After the 2010/11 season he got no new contract with the Rangers and then ended his career as an active.
