The Tour des Alpes-Maritimes et du Var (until 2019: Tour du Haut Var or Tour Cycliste International du Haut Var ) is a French road bike race .

The competition, which has been a stage race with two stages since 2009, usually has its date in mid-February and takes place in the French region of Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur , originally in the Var department . The Tour du Haut-Var, which is one of the earliest French races in any season, was held as a one-day race from its first edition in 1969 up to and including 2008 (exception: 1987) . Since the UCI Europe Tour was introduced in 2005, the race has been part of this racing series and is classified in category 2.1. The course is very selective as it is provided with a few climbs, some with more than 10 percent incline. The Tour du Haut-Var was also part of the Coupe de France , a series of French one-day races from 1992 to 2008 . The record winner is Joop Zoetemelk , who won the race three times as a one-day race. Arthur Vichot won it three times as a stage race.

Throughout its history, the tour has had different names: from 1969 to 1974 it was called Nice-Seillans , 1975 Draguignan-Seillans , 1976 Seillans-Draguignan , 1977 to 1981 Seillans-Draguignan (Tour du Haut-Var) , and from 1982 to 2019 Tour you skin var .
