Tunisia has not yet participated in the Eurovision Song Contest .

In 1977 Tunisia was supposed to make its competition debut. The country was supposed to appear in fourth place at the time, but withdrew shortly before the competition for reasons unknown to this day. Until then, ERTT had not selected a participant or a song for the competition, but was planning to hold a national preliminary decision.

On June 20, 2007, ERTT announced that Tunisia would not take part in the Eurovision Song Contest in the future either.

On April 30, 2015, however, it was announced that ERTT would send a delegation to observe the Eurovision Song Contest 2015 . Nevertheless, the country has not yet made a debut at the Song Contest.
