The Tower Hill Under Auhof is an Outbound medieval moated castle from the type of a motte (moth) at 294.6  m above sea level. NHN on the northern edge of Unterauhof (house no. 2), a district of the Mainleus market in the district of Kulmbach in Bavaria .

In 1372 the Lords of Waldenfels were first attested as the owners of the castle. From 1426 the castle belonged to the Wernstein manor.

The moth enclosure consists of a well-preserved, three-meter-high core mound with an area of 17 by 20 meters and is surrounded by a 10-meter-wide ring trench . Instead of the original tower building, a servants 'or delivery house was built after the Thirty Years' War , using wall blocks and parts of a barrel vault from the previous building.

The current appearance of the house was created in the 19th century. In 1991 the municipality of Mainleus acquired the damaged house and had it repaired in 1995.
