Rathaus Neukölln underground station
The underground station Rathaus Neukölln is a station of the Berlin U-Bahn - U7 in the district of Neukoelln below the Karl-Marx-Straße next to the eponymous Neukölln City Hall .
The planning was carried out by Alfred Grenander , who designed the station with a special tiling and a characteristic station sign, as with the surrounding areas . The station opened on April 11, 1926. In 1967, the platform was extended from 80 to 110 meters to increase the length of the train. The last renovation so far took place at the end of the 1990s, when both the tiles and the flooring were replaced. The station bears the designation Rk in the BVG station directory . It has both an escalator and an elevator, making it barrier-free .
Connection
At the underground station you can change to bus lines 104 and 166 of the BVG .
