Arp 260 = UGC 7230 is an interacting galaxy pair in the constellation Haar der Berenike. It is estimated to be 316 million light years from the Milky Way . Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This galaxy belongs to the class of galaxies with irregular clusters .
