Uli Gsell (* 1967 in Stuttgart ) is a German sculptor who lives and works in Ostfildern near Stuttgart.

life and work

Uli Gsell studied sculpture from 1988 to 1993 with Karl-Henning Seemann , Josef Nadj , Robert Schad and Micha Ullman at the State Academy of Fine Arts in Stuttgart . In 1994 he attended the Escuela Nacional de Pintura, Escultura y Grabado "La Esmeralda" in Mexico City to study with the Japanese-Mexican sculptor Kiyoto Ota . He completed his training under Micha Ullman in 1995/96. From 1999 to 2000 he worked as a sculptor at the Lower Remstal Art School in Baden-Württemberg . Since 2004 he has been a lecturer at the University of Stuttgart .
