Between spring 1974 and winter 1975 Drescher participated in the resistance against the planned nuclear power plant in Wyhl on the Upper Rhine. This was followed by engagements in the environmental movement, from the founding support of the "Pionier-Windmühle Auenberg GbR" in 1990 in Hüfingen to the start-up participation in the " electricity rebels " of Netzkauf Schönau GbR in 1992 to the founding partnership in the solar factory in Freiburg im Breisgau 1996.

Moderation and corporate theater

With his work as a moderator, Ulrich Martin Drescher postulates the interactive moderation methodology as a management tool with provocative and systemic coaching elements as well as the findings of the Pygmalion effect ( you get from your employees what you believe them to be ). To this end, he integrates individual elements of various didactic concepts into a scalable methodological approach. Drescher also communicates this attitude to trainer colleagues and potential competitors and publishes, among other things, a moderation guide in this context.

Drescher contributed to the spread of the moderation method as a leadership technique in workshops on corporate development and group marketing. His commitment to professional open space and (large) group moderation (Fig. 2) for up to 1,200 people in over 350 commercial companies also led him to moderations for ministries of the federal government (Fig Ministry of Economic Affairs).
