Oberhörnbach is a village with 64 inhabitants (2001 census) in the market town of Klam in the Perg district in Upper Austria .

geography

The village is located about 1.5 kilometers northeast of the center of Klam, next to the border with the neighboring municipality of Saxen ( Letten ) and is separated from the village of Oberhörnbach in the northwest by the L 1431 state road leading from Klam to Grein . To the west of Oberhörnbach is the Klam market, to the south, east and north, the village of Letten in the municipality of Saxen. The population of the village was assigned to the parish and the Klam school district.

From a geological and geomorphological point of view, as well as from the point of view of the use of space, Unterhörnach is located entirely in the Upper Austrian space units southern Mühlviertel outskirts .

history

At the time the Josephine situation book was introduced , there were 9 small and 6 large houses in Hörnbach, although at that time there was no separation between Unter- and Oberhörnbach. Small monuments in the village are the Scheern chapel and the chapel at Auer in the summer house as well as the Gstöttenbauer cross
