Niederkalmberg is a village with 50 inhabitants in the cadastral municipality of Clam in the market town of Klam in the Perg district in Upper Austria .

geography

Niederkalmberg lies at 290  m above sea level. A. and borders in the west and northwest on the town of Untergaisberg in the cadastral community of Innernstein of the market town of Münzbach , in the north and east on the town of Oberkalmberg in the cadastral town of Kalmberg in the market town of Bad Kreuzen and in the southeast on the town of Letten in the market and cadastral community of Saxen . Within the municipality of Klam, the localities Unterhörnbach and Oberhörnbach reach in the south and the locality Linden an Niederkalmberg in the southwest .

In the village, the Sulzbach flows into the Klambach , which flows through the Niederkalmberg from north to south. The Münzbacher Straße (L 1423) runs in the Klambachtal and branches off from the Donau Straße (B 3) in Saxen and leads via Klam and Münzbach to Perg and there again joins the Donau Straße.

history

Until its dissolution in 1875, Niederkalmberg was part of the independent local community of Kalmberg, but was assigned to the school district and the Klam parish . The incorporation to Klam was completed on January 14, 1877.
