Upplands-Bro is a municipality ( Swedish kommun ) in the Swedish province of Stockholm County and the historic province of Uppland . The main town of the municipality is Kungsängen .

history

The municipality was formed in 1952 by merging Stockholms-Näs, Västra Ryd, Håbo-Tibble, Håtuna and Bro and Låssa. In 1971 she was transferred from Uppsala County to Stockholm County .
