Víctor Manuel López Forero (born March 29, 1931 in Puente Nacional ) is Old Archbishop of Bucaramanga .
Life
Víctor Manuel López Forero was ordained a priest on October 27, 1957 . and was incardinated in the clergy of the Archdiocese of Bogotá . Pope Paul VI appointed him on May 6, 1977 auxiliary bishop in Bogotá and titular bishop of Afufenia .
The Archbishop of Bogotá and Military Vicar of Colombia , Cardinal Aníbal Muñoz Duque , consecrated him Bishop on June 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were José Gabriel Calderón Contreras , Bishop of Cartago , and Alfonso López Trujillo , Auxiliary Archbishop ad personam in Bogotá.

On June 21, 1994 he was appointed Archbishop of Nueva Pamplona . On June 27, 1998 he was appointed Archbishop of Bucaramanga . On February 13, 2009, Benedict XVI. his age-related resignation.
