The pre-release single, Nolita Fairytale , was sent to US radio stations on July 17, 2007 and has been available on the iTunes Store since that day . The video for the single was shot on July 28, 2007 in Lafayette Street and Bond Street in upstate New York's Little Italy district .

On July 26, 2011, Vanessa Carlton's fourth album entitled "Rabbits on the run" was released. In the first week of its release, it peaked at number 62 on the US Billboard 200 .
