Vasil Khamutowski ( Belarusian Васіль Хамутоўскі , Eng. Transcription Vasil Chamutowski , also Russian Василий Иосифович Хомутовский - Vasily Iosifovich Chomutowski - Vasiliy Khomutovskiy * thirtieth August 1978 in Minsk , Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic ) is a former Belarusian football goalkeeper .
Club career
Chamutouski started as a teenager with Smena Minsk , a Belarusian third division club. Since 1996 he has changed clubs several times and initially plays for Ataka Minsk and BATE Baryssau , from where he was loaned twice to Smena Minsk . After spending a short time at Torpedo Minsk in 2000 , he went to Germany for the first time in the 2nd Bundesliga, at SV Waldhof Mannheim . Here he made his first appearance on November 20, 2000, when he was substituted on for goalkeeper Achim Hollerieth in the 90th minute at 3: 3 in Saarbrücken . His only use over 90 minutes for the Waldhöfer he had in the 0-1 defeat on February 2, 2001 in Nuremberg , in which he only allowed a goal from Jacek Krzynówek .
In 2001 he moved to Dynamo Moscow , where he gained match practice in the first and second teams. A year later he joined the Russian second division club FK Volgar-Gazprom Astrakhan , with which he only stayed a few months. He came to Steaua Bucharest in 2003 through Metalist Charkiw . He became a regular player at the Romanian top club, having played 50 League 1 and 18 UEFA Cups in three seasons (including a 0-0 win in Berlin against Hertha BSC in 2005 ) and four Champions League matches between the posts. He was twice the Romanian champion. In 2006 he went back to the Russian Premier League to Tom Tomsk ; from there he moved back to Germany. In January 2008 he signed a contract with FC Carl Zeiss Jena until June 30, 2009, which is not valid for the 3rd division . Since Chamutouski was relegated with Jena, he was able to switch to a free transfer. In May 2008, the Belarusian signed a contract with FC Augsburg until June 30, 2010. This contract was not extended and so in 2010 he moved to the Ukrainian club Tavria Simferopol. At the beginning of 2011 he left the club for the Russian first division club Amkar Perm .
In early 2012, the Romanian first division club Petrolul Ploieşti Chamutouski. While he was still a regular there at first, he was hardly used in the 2012/13 season as number two behind Mircea Bornescu . In the 2013 cup final , he guarded the gate and won the title with his team. In July 2013 he left Petrolul and returned to Torpedo Schodsina in his home country. With Torpedo, he just missed qualifying for the Europa League in the following two seasons . In early 2015 he moved to league competitor FK Dinamo Minsk . His active career also ended there in the summer of 2016 at the age of 36.
National team
Chamutouski has played for the Belarusian national team since 2003 . On October 13, 2007 he was a substitute in goal when Belarus lost 1-0 to Luxembourg in stoppage time in qualifying for the European Championship . A header from Fons Leweck had slipped through his hands. By the end of May 2008 there are 18 missions in the starting line-up of Belarus in its statistics.
