The vbba - Labor and Social Union is a trade union in the DBB Beamtenbund and Tarifunion . Until May 15, 2014 this association was called the employees of professional and labor market service providers .
tasks
The trade union in the Federal Employment Agency and the job centers. It offers its members professional representation in social, economic and legal matters. It grants legal protection, pays strike money in the event of a strike or reprimand, offers educational events and protects its members in their free time with leisure accident insurance. The vbba informs its members about current questions and problems through the vbba magazine. The vbba is the collective bargaining partner for the collective agreement for the employees of the Federal Employment Agency (TV-BA).
structure
The vbba is organized nationwide in over 200 regional groups and 11 regional groups. The highest decision-making body is the Federal Trade Union Congress, which takes place every four years. The federal executive committee elected by the Federal Trade Union Congress forms the main federal executive committee together with the named members of the regional groups, the vbba members of the main staff council, the main youth and trainee representatives and the chairperson of the women's representation. This meets at least once a year and decides on basic professional and social issues as well as organizational and budgetary issues.
As a member of the dbb, the vbba supports the reform goals of the dbb, in particular the inclusion of employees in the reform process of the BA and the future-oriented further development of the professional civil service .
