The Association of State Officials, Employees and Workers North Rhine-Westphalia (VdLA) is a trade union for state employees in North Rhine-Westphalia . The VdLA, based in Düsseldorf, is part of the dbb beamtenbund and tarifunion . According to its own information, it organizes around 8,000 employees in authorities, institutions and state operations of the NRW state administration.

Goals and content

The union maintains specialist groups, in particular in the five district governments , the state ministries in Düsseldorf, the state audit office, in the university clinics , the Ruhr University in Bochum and the RWTH Aachen . The members are looked after directly on site in the respective departments by the specialist groups.

Chairperson

The VdLA NRW is headed by the chairman Himmet Ertürk and the vice chairmen Ingrid Straub, Thorsten Barzik and Theo Renninghoff.
