The German Public Attorney Association (DAAV) sees itself as representing the interests of public lawyers .

The DAAV is a member of the dbb German Beamtenbund and has its seat in Duisburg . The federal office is in Kiel . Chief attorney Jörn Eggert is the chairman of the executive board.
