Višni ( Macedonian Вишни , Albanian  Vishnja ) is a place in southwest Macedonia , around seven kilometers west of the municipality's capital Struga (beeline). It is located on the eastern slope of Jablanica at about 1062  m ( approximate average). In recent years, many families have left the village, which is why, according to the last census nine years ago, it only had 14 inhabitants, but had well over 100 households; the majority, however, are vacant. The inhabitants are without exception Macedonians who profess Orthodox Christianity .

From the village you have a clear view of the great Struga plain, Lake Ohrid and the neighboring hills. It can be reached from Šum via a winding road .

Višni resp. vişne means “sour cherry” in Turkish .
