Gorna Belica ( Macedonian Горна Белица , Albanian Belica e Sipërme or Belicë e Sipërme , Aromanian Beala di Supra ; in German "Upper Belica") is a place in the southwest of North Macedonia , about twelve kilometers northwest of the municipality's capital Struga . The village has only one Macedonian inhabitant, but over 140 households. This difference is thanks to the many mountain houses that are booked in winter by tourists from the region but also from other parts of the country. The place can be reached via winding roads either from Vevčani , Oktisi or Višni .
Gorna Belica is a popular winter holiday resort and is located on the eastern slope of the Jablanica Mountains .
An Aromanian minority used to live in the village , but they have long since emigrated either to the lower Dolna Belica or to the neighboring town of Struga.
