Vladimír Kinder (born March 7, 1969 in Bratislava ) is a former Slovak football player.

Club career

Kinder began his professional career at Slovan Bratislava .

In July 1997 he moved for 1 million. £ in the English Premier League to Middlesbrough FC . As a result, Kinder was the first Slovak footballer in the top English division .

After three years in England, he first moved to the Gambrinus League in the Czech Republic for 1. FK Drnovice and one and a half years later back home to FC Petržalka 1898 .

For the 2003/04 season, Kinder moved to Austria in the first division at SC Untersiebenbrunn . Untersiebenbrunn had set promotion to the Bundesliga as a goal and equipped the team with many renowned and expensive players for this season. When the 2003/04 season could only be finished in fourth place, savings were made rigorously in order to avert the economic end. As a result, Untersiebenbrunn Kinder, who scored eight goals in 32 league games, could no longer afford it.
