information

On March 16, 2020, the release of the album, which was to be titled Wahl , was officially announced for July 15 of the same year. The songs were all composed by Noriyasu Agematsu, Ryutaro Fujinaga, Junpei Fujita and Yusuke Takeda of the Elements Garden composers' collective. With one exception - the seventh song on the album Break Your Desire - the lyrics of the pieces were written by Asuka Oda or Noriyasu Agametsu, who also wrote the lyrics of the pieces on the debut album.

With Neo-Aspect , Determination Symphony and Re: Birthday there are three songs on the album that were already heard on the previous work. In addition to a regular version, a limited version of the album was also released, which also includes two Blu-ray discs. This shows a concert recording of the concert Wasser / Flamme , which the group played in Fuji-Q-Highland in August 2019 .

Two weeks before the official release of the album, Bushiroad published an album teaser in which excerpts of all the pieces on the album could be heard. Wahl is the group's first album with Yuki Nakashima on bass guitar and Kanon Shizaki on keyboard . They took on the roles of characters Lisa Imai and Rinko Shirogane from Yurika Endo and Satomi Akesaka , who both retired in 2018.
