The MP had to prevail with an absolute majority in the first ballot or in a runoff election. The constituency of Styria 7 comprised the cities, markets and communities of Sankt Gallen , Gröbming , Schladming , Irdning , Rottenmann , Mautern , Oberzeiring , Obdach , Knittelfeld , Murau , Aussee , Altaussee , Reitern , Judenburg , Unzmarkt , Weißkirchen , Neumarkt , Sankt Lambrecht , Oberwölz City , St. Peter am Kammersberg , Admont and Liezen .
