For several years he has also been on stage as the singer of the jazz band Rabbi Walter Rothschild and The Minyan Boys . He responded to the circumcision debate in 2012 with the provocative song Cut the Foreskins! and a joke: “What is a Putzke ? An untrimmed plaster. Is a Yiddish joke. Plaster means something like idiot ”. In the same year he expanded his field of activity again: with the ZDF multi-part series Das Adlon. In a family saga , he made a brief appearance in the role of a rabbi. In December 2016 he made an appearance in Tatort - Dunkelfeld .
