Waltraud Hüsmert
Waltraud Hüsmert (born May 6, 1951 in Werdohl , Westphalia ) is a German translator .
Life
Waltraud Hüsmert completed a study of the subjects of Dutch , German and art history at the Free University of Berlin and at the University of Leiden . She has been working as a freelance translator since 1981 . She lives in Berlin today .
Hüsmert translates literary and scientific works from Dutch and English into German .
Hüsmert is a member of the Association of German-Language Translators of Literary and Scientific Works , VdÜ.
