Warlow , Polish Warłów , is a village in Upper Silesia . Warlow is located in the municipality of Guttentag in the powiat Oleski in the Polish Opole Voivodeship .

In the referendum in Upper Silesia on March 20, 1921, 104 eligible voters voted to remain with Germany and 158 for Poland, in the Warlow manor district 32 people voted for Germany and 20 people for Poland. Warlow stayed with the German Empire . In 1933 there were 736 inhabitants. On July 22, 1936, the place was renamed Wiesenau (Upper Silesia) . In 1939 the place had 742 inhabitants. Until 1945 the place was in the district of Loben (meanwhile in the district of Guttentag).

In 1945 the previously German place came under Polish administration and was renamed Warłów and joined the Silesian Voivodeship. In 1950 the place came to the Opole Voivodeship . From 1975 to 1998 the place was in the Czestochowa Voivodeship . In 1999 the place came to the Opole Voivodeship and Powiat Oleski . On July 4, 2008, the place was also given the official German place name Warlow .
