Warmersdorf is a district of the market Wachenroth in the Erlangen-Höchstadt district in Middle Franconia .

geography

The village is largely surrounded by forest areas on the Hechtweihergraben ( called Ailsbach in the lower reaches ), which is a left tributary of the Kleine Weisach .

history

Warmersdorf was first mentioned in 1352 when Hans von Lonnerstadt acquired tithe rights there. The monastery Michelsberg had in manorial claims. A part of the Michelsberg fiefdom changed the fiefdom holder several times and finally came to Sigmund Joachim von Egloffstein zu Mühlhausen in 1534 . There was also a small castle in Warmersdorf that was burned down in 1632 during the Thirty Years War . The high court exercised the manor Mühlhausen, but had to deliver it to the Bamberg center Wachenroth if necessary . The Bamberg claim was disputed by the Castell'schen Amt Burghaslach .

As part of the community edict, Warmersdorf was assigned to the Unterwinterbach tax district formed in 1808 . It was incorporated into the rural community of Frimmersdorf , founded in 1818 . In 1820 it was transferred to Mühlhausen , and finally to Weingartsgreuth on September 9, 1854 . The entire place was subject to the voluntary jurisdiction of the Mühlhausen Patrimonial Court (until 1834).

On May 1, 1978, Warmersdorf was incorporated into the Wachenroth market as part of the regional reform .
