Who Is She 2 U
Who Is She 2 U (in German: Who Is She For You ) is a song by the American R&B singer Brandy . Timothy " Timbaland " Mosley wrote and produced the track, which was released in the United States in October 2004 as the second release from Brandy's fourth studio album, Afrodisiac . Brandy himself described the mid-tempo song, recorded in 2003, as semi-autobiographical .

The mid-tempo song was first released in the United States on July 27, 2004, as the second single from the album Afrodisiac. There was also a mixtape version with newly sung verses by Usher . In addition, another remix with rapper Fabolous was put together for the hip-hop radio stations . Various dance remixes were played in discos across the United States .
With the release of Brandy's first compilation The Best of Brandy , Who Is She 2 U was partly released on March 27, 2005 in Europe and Oceania to promote the Greatest Hits CD. Since Brandy split from their label Atlantic Records in early 2005 , the company was forced to use an "old" track like "Who Is She 2 U" instead of a new song as the lead single for the best-of CD. That's why there were no promo appearances of the song when it was released in March 2005.
Charts and chart placements
At number 85, the single is the singer's weakest chart success on the US Billboard Hot 100 . On August 28, 2004, the title rose to number 85 as the fifth-highest newcomer of the week. The single stayed in the top 100 of the charts for another three weeks. The song is Brandy's most unsuccessful single to ever make it into the US top 100. On its counterpart in the R&B / Hip-Hop genre, the track reached number 43. Just like the previous US single "Talk About Our Love", the song was also a top twenty hit in Billboard's hot R&B / Hip Hop singles sales Ranking and number 31 on the Hot 100 Singles Sales Charts. Thus the song failed not because of the sales figures, but because of a lack of airplay (position 50 of the Hot R & B / Hip-Hop songs , and no entry into the Hot 100 airplay charts). Because the American Hot 100, including R & B / Hip-Hop charts, were formed at the time the song was released from physical sales and airplay on the radio. The track's dance remixes reached number two on the Billboard dance charts . Outside of North America, the single reached number 50 on the UK's official singles charts and number 99 on the Australian ARIA singles chart, both positions were also the lowest singles chart positions of Brandy's career to date.
