Wilhelm Heinsohn

Wilhelm Anton Bernhard Heinsohn (born March 22, 1843 in Lübeck ; † September 6, 1915 there ) was a master craftsman and belonged to the Lübeck citizenship for 33 years .

Life

origin

Wilhelm was born the son of cymbal master Carl Heinsohn.

career

Heinsohn attended the cathedral boys' school and then learned the painting trade in seven years of maturity . During his traveling years he worked in Germany and Austria .

Back at home in Lübeck, he settled down in 1870. In the trade association , trade association, painters' guild, in the section association of the Hamburg construction trade association, he worked in an excellent position and gained a high reputation for his factual appearance .

In his guild , Heinsohn was ultimately their chief master for many years.

The trade association honored Heinsohn for his work with the award of honorary membership .

Public life

The master painter Heinsohn was a person of public life and saw his life's work in representing the trade before legislative and non-profit bodies . As a representative of the trade , he was appointed to the praesidia of the above-mentioned bodies several times .

At the quarter meeting on June 15, 1879, Emil Ad. Wilh. Rothe, Christ. Plitt, Emil Wolpmann , Friedrich Ewers , Heinr. Ferd. Rud. Schweighoffer, Friedrich Bluhme, Pet. Heinr. Earth. Steinhagen and he as candidates for the fourth electoral district ( Johannis Quartier and suburb of St. Jürgen ) for the upcoming mayor election . In the township elections on June 18, 307 (27%) of the 1,378 eligible voters voted and all eight elected representatives. Heinsohn received 250 votes . In the same year he was accepted as a full member of the Society for the Promotion of Charitable Activities and at its meeting on February 14, 1882, he was elected to the head of the collection in kind .

On April 20, 1881, electoral commissions for the supplementary elections of the citizenry were determined for the fourth constituency . As a deputy for the district assessor, Friedr. Aug. Bernstein, Heinsohn was chosen.

In the meeting of the citizens' committee of 27 April 1890, the application was improving the fire extinguishing system and adoption of street cleaning by the Police Department to the from John Daniel Benda , Wilhelm Gaedecke, Otto Gusmann, Johannes Nicolaus Heinrich Rahtgens and his existing Commission directed. Furthermore, on December 22nd, 1890, the application for approval of 13,500 marks for the demolition of the former Lerchen'schen house and the construction of the south facade of the town hall with the application for the simultaneous renovation of the west facade was referred to a from Conrad Heidenreich, Heinrich Josef Georg August and his existing commission.

At the quarter meeting of the members of the Father City Association of the IV. Electoral district on May 26, 1891, the candidates for the citizenship election were put up under the direction of Heinrich Radbruch . Heinsohn was among the nine representatives of the trade . All candidates nominated by the Father City Association were elected.

On April 19, 1893, at the quarter meeting of the fourth electoral district, Ewers was elected as chairman there and Heinsohn as his deputy. The application for the reorganization of the building police was made on December 27, 1893 to one of Conrad Heidenreich, Theodor Schorer, Georg Friedr. Heinr. Sommer, Hermann Meeths and Heinsohn and Friedr. Wilh. Schacht and Ernst Christian Johannes Schön expelled the existing commission as substitutes. On July 15, 1895, he was re-elected to the citizens' committee with 80 votes.

For the citizenship election in the fourth constituency on June 24, 1897, 866 (70%) of the 1242 eligible voters went to vote. Heinsohn was elected with 479 votes. At the neighborhood assembly of the Father City Association for the Johannis Quartier and the suburb of St. Jürgen on June 5, 1903, Heinsohn was again put up as a candidate for the citizenship election and he was re-elected.

Heinsohn was re-elected a member of the citizens' committee in 1898.

In 1906, the citizens' committee elected Heinsohn as its second deputy spokesman .

In 1909, the Lübeck citizenship elected Heinsohn as their second deputy spokesman for two years. After a two-year hiatus, she elected him to be her deputy spokesman.

Bourgeois deputy

On December 14, 1889, Heinsohn was appointed by the Senate in place of the resigning JGC Busekist as a civil deputy to the Central-Armen-Deputation .

Instead of Joh. Carl Heinr. On January 14, 1899, the Senate elected Abels Heinsohn as a civil deputy to the tax authorities . Furthermore, he elected him on June 17, 1899 in place of the outgoing Radbruch as a civil deputy at the billeting authority of the city in the Johannis-Quartier and confirmed him in 1905 in this office .

In place of the late Johannes Boye , the Senate elected Heinsohn to the head of the v. Brömbsen wills .

Later, Heinsohn was also a middle-class deputy in the high school authorities and in that of the infirmary .

Due to illness , Heinsohn withdrew from public life in the Hanseatic city in 1914.

Chamber of Commerce

On January 1, 1881, Heinsohn was elected as an assessor in the trade court.

Heinsohn was elected to their board of directors on February 29, 1882 and to their excursion commission on March 6, 1882 .

The Chamber Committee proposed Heinsohn on February 8, 1894 for election to the board of the trade company. In August he was elected with 64 out of 66 possible votes.

At the general meeting of Lübecker Gewerbebank held on February 4, 1901, a dividend of 5% was resolved for 1900 . In the Supervisory Board , the constitutionally retiring Friedr were. Carl Sauermann, Heinsohn, Joh. Ad. Corn. Busson, Ludw. Thom. Heinr. Heyck and August Brauer re-elected.

family

Heinsohn had married Therese and was the father of the later Lübeck Senator Carl Heinsohn . Besides this he had two sons and two daughters. He lived at No. 72 Johannisstrasse .
