Wilhelm Noë (born December 6, 1890 in Karlsruhe , † July 18, 1956 ), also called "Nolle", was a German football player and coach .
Player career
From 1906 to 1910 Noë belonged to the Karlsruher FC Phönix as a left half- forward , for which he was used in the championships in the southern district organized by the Association of South German Soccer Clubs . During his club membership, the 1908/09 season was his most successful; he won three regional titles, including the South German Championship, which qualified him and his team for participation in the final round of the German Championship. With five goals in three games , he made a significant contribution to winning the German championship.
The 1910/11 season he played for SC Victoria Hamburg in the A-class, the regional top division, and finished second after the season.
Returned to Karlsruhe, he played again in the 1911/12 season for the Karlsruhe FC Phönix and the 1912/13 season for the Karlsruhe FC Phönix (Phönix-Alemannia), which had been renamed in 1912 .
Then he played for Hanover 96 under the umbrella organization of the North German Football Association for the North German Championship 1913/14 , which he completed with the team in third place.
From 1915 to 1919 he played for the Halle football club from 1896 in the championships organized by the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs in the Saale district , whose championship he won with the team in the 1916/17 season and in the two following seasons. During this period, the team also won the Central German Championship twice.
From 1919 to 1923 he was active for the 1st Bielefeld FC Arminia under the umbrella organization of the West German Game Association in the Westphalia district - from the following season - in the Westfalengau as a middle runner and team captain and was successful with two Gau and West German championships. Coaching career
He then ended his active career at Arminia's local rivals VfB 03 Bielefeld , where he later took over as coach. Under his leadership, the "Hüpker" ("young hopper"), second in the West German championship in 1931 .
