The Central German Football Championship 1918/19 of the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs was the 18th season of the Central German Football Championship . Despite the First World War , regular games took place in most of the districts during this season. With a 2-1 win over SV Fußballring Dresden , Hallesche FC became Central German soccer champions for the second and last time. The German soccer championship did not take place again due to the war.

The clubs were divided into 18 districts (Gaue) in the 1918/19 season. In July 1918 it was decided to merge the Thuringian Gaue Kyffhäuser, Northern Thuringia, Eastern Thuringia, Saale-Elster, Southern Thuringia, Wartburg and Western Thuringia into a circle, a top Thuringian league should be established. The extent to which all affected districts participated could not be recorded. At least the Saale-Elster-Gau protested against the decision and played their own first class this season. The final tables of the individual districts have not survived, with exceptions.
