The Central German Football Championship 1904/05 of the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs (VMBV) was the fourth season of the Central German Football Championship . This year's championship was held again in two Gauligen, the winners of which met in a final. In this, the Dresdner SC defeated the Hallescher FC 1896 with a 3-2 home win and thus qualified for the German soccer championship 1904/05 . In this, the Dresden team reached the semi-finals after a 5-3 victory in the quarter-finals against Vicotria Hamburg , which was lost to the BTuFC Union in 1892 . The VfB Leipzig was as last year's finalist (last season the German Cup was canceled, so there was no defending champion) also qualified for the German football championship, but decided not to participate in the quarter-final against FUCC Eintracht Braunschweig .

On the 10th day of the VMBV on February 4, 1905, the final admission of the associations Magdeburg Ball Game Clubs , Dresden Ball Game Clubs , Leipzig Ball Game Clubs , Chemnitz Football Associations and Thuringian Football Associations was decided. The associations played the 1904/05 season to the end and were incorporated into existing or newly created districts of the VMBV from the coming season.

The clubs in the Association of Central German Ball Game Clubs were again divided into three districts (Gaue) in the 1903/04 season, with only the winners of Gaue I and II qualified for the finals, since Gau III only functioned as a lower class league. The Magdeburg clubs were still organized in the Association of Magdeburg Ball Game Clubs and played their own football champions.
