Wilhelm Sommer (District President)

Johannes Wilhelm Josef Sommer (born June 24, 1891 in Aachen , † January 1, 1971 in Koblenz ) was a German administrative officer.

After becoming a Dr. jur. received his doctorate and successfully passed the second state examination, he was appointed police director in Hamm in Westphalia in 1920. In 1933 he moved to Cologne as an administrative lawyer . On June 5, 1945, he took up the post of Vice President in the regional council in Koblenz ; almost a year later, in May 1946, he was promoted to the position of regional president of Koblenz as the successor to Wilhelm Boden , who had been appointed prime minister . June 1957.
