Gerhard Mischke

Gerhard Mischke (born December 25, 1898 in Kiel ; † 1987 ) was a German administrative lawyer and district president in Koblenz (1936–1945).

Life

Mischke began his legal career as a naval officer after participating in the First World War . He was employed at courts and worked in the Westerburg district office . From 1933 to 1936 he worked as government vice president in Wiesbaden . From December 1, 1936, with his appointment on June 16, 1937, Mischke headed the Koblenz administrative district as district president until the end of the Second World War . In addition, at the beginning of the war from September 1, 1939 to June 30, 1940, he was the representative of the chief of civil administration in the western operational area of ​​the army.

Mischke was a member of the NSDAP ( membership number 239888) and a member of the General SS (SS number 289212). In 1943 he was appointed SS Brigade Leader. Mischke worked from March 15, 1943 to May 8, 1945 in the role of leader of SS Section  XI (Koblenz).
