Waldemar Leibmann

Waldemar Leibmann (born February 9, 1923 in Speyer ; † May 29, 2004 ) was a German administrative lawyer and ministerial official . From 1967 to 1973 he was government president of the districts of Koblenz and Montabaur , the latter being incorporated into the Koblenz counterpart on October 1, 1968.

Life

Leibmann was born the son of a civil servant. After graduating from high school in Würzburg , he studied law and political science at the university there . In 1960 he was with the dissertation duty Contemporary discretion of the legislator in shaping law in the social state of law for a doctor of law doctorate . After completing his studies, he worked as a civil servant in the State Chancellery of Rhineland-Palatinate from 1954 to 1967 . From 1967 to 1973 he was President of the Government District of Koblenz; from 1967 until its dissolution in 1968 he was also the district president ofMontabaur . He had been a member of the CDU since 1957 .

Leibmann worked as chairman of the DRK district association Koblenz-Montabaur and the Nassau Cultural Foundation.

Waldemar Leibmann was married to Gertrud, b. Soiderer. They had five children. He was a member of the Catholic student union KStV Normannia Würzburg.
