Wolfgang Grabow

Wolfgang Grabow (born September 2, 1942 in Berlin ) is a German theater actor and director .

Life

Growing up in East Berlin , Wolfgang Grabow worked in his learned profession after completing secondary school and training as a precision mechanic until he fled to western Germany in 1961 . Although he initially continued to work as a precision mechanic, he also took private acting lessons and appeared in smaller roles at the Comedy Basel . From 1968 to 1970 he studied at the Zurich University of Music and Theater and graduated with a diploma. After working at theaters in St. Gallen , Biel / Solothurn , Münster , Bern , Osnabrück and Kiel , he now works as a freelance actor and director. Wolfgang Grabow lives in Solothurn and Munich .

In 2005, Wolfgang Grabow mimed a kiosk seller in two cinema commercials for the daily newspaper taz , who initially withheld the usual Bild newspaper from a regular customer who was oversubscribed and who instead slipped an issue of taz. Shortly afterwards, the customer receives his Bild newspaper and they both start to laugh out loud. It follows the slogan taz is not for everyone . The Axel Springer Verlag was the demonstration by provisional ban; nevertheless both were cinema spots; Received a First Steps Award in 2006.
