In 1936 the Wolseley Wasp (German wasp , cf. Hornet : German hornet ) replaced the nine. Its engine had a slightly larger displacement with 1069 cm³ and made 32 bhp (23.5 kW) at 4000 rpm. With the same wheelbase, its body was 3480 mm long and 1461 mm wide. The curb weight was 914 kg and the top speed was 103 km / h.

After only one year, the Wasp disappeared from the Wolseley model range without replacement.
