Woqooyi Galbeed (Somali for "northwest"; Arabic وقوي غلبيد Wuqūy Ghalbayd ) is a region ( gobolka ) in northern Somalia . It is part of the internationally not recognized Somaliland . Its capital is Hargeysa , which is also the capital of Somaliland.
