World Pool Masters 2014

The Party Poker World Pool Masters 2014 was the 22nd edition of a year since 1993 discharged 9-Ball - snooker tournament . It was held from November 14-16, 2014 at the Portland Center in Nottingham . The tournament was organized by Matchroom Sport and the main sponsor was PartyPoker.net . The American Shane van Boening was able to prevail in the final against the Greek Nikos Ekonomopoulos with 8: 2 and won the tournament for the first time.

Defending champion Niels Feijen , who was also the reigning 9-ball world champion, was eliminated in the first round against the Italian Daniele Corrieri . Thorsten Hohmann , the only German participant in the tournament, lost to the finalist Ekonomopoulos in the round of 16.

As in the previous year, the tournament's winning prize money was US $ 20,000 .
