regulate

16 of the best pool players in the world are invited to the World Pool Masters. The game is played in the pool variant 9-ball . A shot clock of 35 seconds is set. If a player has not taken his shot by then, there is foul and " ball in hand " for the opponent.

The game is played with a winner's break , ie the player who won the previous game may kick off the following game.

A woman, the Korean Yu Ram Cha , was also invited; similar to 2007 , when Jasmin Ouschan was there. Shortly before the start of the tournament, it was announced that the originally invited Canadian Alain Martel will be replaced by his compatriot Tyler Edey because Martel had problems with the necessary visa.
