Wulf Schönbohm (* 1941 in Bad Saarow , Brandenburg ) is a German politician ( CDU ).

Life

Wulf Schönbohm studied after graduating from high school in 1961 in Kassel at the universities of Bonn and Berlin political science, sociology and philosophy.

From 1967 to 1968 he was federal chairman of the Ring of Christian Democratic Students . In 1969/70 Schönbohm played a leading role in the creation of the RCDS-related magazine Sonde (today merged to Civis with Sonde ), which played an important role in the CDU's internal reform process in the 1970s. 1971/72 he was chairman of the JU Rheinland. 1968 to 1983 Schönbohm was an employee of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation

From 1983 to 1989 Schönbohm worked closely with Heiner Geißler , later headed the Policy and Planning Department in the State Ministry of Baden-Württemberg and from 1997 to 2004 the foreign office of the CDU-affiliated Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Ankara .

His brother Jörg was also a CDU politician and former interior minister of Brandenburg .
