Tamara Zieschang

Tamara Zieschang (born August 21, 1970 in Saarlouis ) is a German political officer and politician ( CDU ). She was State Secretary in Schleswig-Holstein from 2009 to 2012, State Secretary in Saxony-Anhalt from 2012 to 2019 and has been State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure since 2019 .

Life and work

Tamara Zieschang spent most of her youth in Lingen (Ems) in Lower Saxony . After her high school in 1989 at the Catholic St. Francis High School Lingen she studied until 1996 at the universities in Würzburg and Bonn law . After the first state examination , Tamara Zieschang worked from 1996 to 1999 as a research assistant at the Institute for International Law and Public Law at the University of Bonn. She passed her second state examination in 2000. With a thesis on Franz Böhm's State Image , she was awarded a Dr. jur. PhD . From 2000 to 2004 she was responsible for business consulting law firms in Berlin worked, from 2004 to 2009 was followed by a job in the legal department of the Federal Association of German Cooperative cooperative banks .

Tamara Zieschang is an Evangelical Lutheran denomination.

Political party

From 1992 to 1993 Tamara Zieschang was deputy chairwoman and from 1993 to 1994 federal chairwoman of the Ring of Christian Democratic Students . In 1994 she joined the CDU . Between 2002 and 2008 she was a member of the regional board of the Evangelical Working Group of the CDU / CSU for Berlin and Brandenburg and from 2006 to 2007 a member of the CDU's basic program commission.

In the 2009 federal election , Zieschang failed as a direct candidate in the Brandenburg electoral district 63 (Dahme-Spreewald - Teltow-Fläming III - Oberspreewald-Lausitz I) with 24.8 percent of the first votes . On the state list of the CDU Brandenburg , it was placed 7th not promising enough.

Public offices

On October 27, 2009, Zieschang was appointed State Secretary responsible for the “Economy” division in the Ministry of Science, Economy and Transport of Schleswig-Holstein . With the change of government as a result of the state election in 2012 , her office ended on June 12, 2012.

Five months later, Zieschang switched to the service of the State of Saxony-Anhalt : on November 15, 2012, Prime Minister Reiner Haseloff (CDU) appointed her State Secretary in the Ministry of Science and Economy . After the state elections in 2016, she changed departments and from April 27, 2016 she was State Secretary in the Ministry of the Interior and Sport of the State of Saxony-Anhalt.

In December 2019, Zieschang moved to the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure as State Secretary . There she succeeded Guido Beermann . She has been chairwoman of the supervisory board of German air traffic control since April 30, 2020 .

She is a member of the Supervisory Board of Deutsche Bahn .
