Guido Beermann

Guido Beermann (born December 4, 1965 in Emsdetten ) is a German ministerial official and politician ( CDU ).

Life

After graduating from high school and completing basic military service, Guido Beermann studied law at the Ludwig Maximilians University in Munich . After passing the second state examination , he worked as a consultant in the Federal Chancellery from 1994 to 2002 . Subsequently, he was a parliamentary group officer of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group in the German Bundestag until 2005 . From 2006 to 2012 he was the office manager of the ministers of state at the Chancellor's office and then moved to the Senate Department for Economics, Technology and Research under Senator Cornelia Yzer as State Secretary . From 2015 he was department head for drugs, medical devices and biotechnology in the Federal Ministry of Health . In March 2018 he became State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure .

At the beginning of November 2019 he was nominated as Minister for Infrastructure and State Planning in the Brandenburg cabinet Woidke III and sworn in on November 20 of the same year.

Guido Beermann is married and has three daughters. He lives in Kleinmachnow .
