Kerstin Schreyer , divorced Schreyer-Stäblein , (born June 29, 1971 in Munich ) is a German politician ( CSU ) and since February 2, 2020 Bavarian State Minister for Housing, Building and Transport .

Life

education

After graduating from Edith-Stein-Gymnasium in Munich in 1993, she studied from 1994 to 1999 at the Catholic Foundation College for Social Work. For the period from 1996 to 1999 she also received a scholarship from the Hanns Seidel Foundation . She completed her studies with a degree in social education (FH), systemic therapist (DGSF).

job

From 1988 to 1999 she worked as a part-time job at the Wohnstift am Parksee in Unterhaching . She then headed the Caritas day care center for mental health until 2001 . Since 2000 she has also been active in diakonia and as a socio-educational family aid. Since 2002 she has been working in the field of youth welfare and as a family therapist.

politics

Political party

From 1988 to 1990 she joined the Junge Union , the Frauen-Union and the CSU and worked on the various local boards. From 1994 to 2002 she was also deputy JU district chairman in the Munich district . In 2003 she joined the Mittelstands-Union and was secretary on the district executive until 2005. From 2004 to 2008 she was FU district chairman in the Munich district. From 2011 to 2019 she chaired the CSU family commission.

Local politics

From 1996 to 2006 she was a councilor in Unterhaching, between 2003 and 2008 district councilor and from 2003 to 2007 consultant for the children's center in Munich, health and social committee. Schreyer has been a member of the Munich district council since 1996.

Parliament

Kerstin Schreyer has been a member of the state parliament since autumn 2008. She won the district of Munich-Land-Süd with 39.2% of the first votes. She was appointed to the “Committee for Education, Youth and Sport” and the “Committee for Submissions and Complaints”. In 2013 she was re-elected to the state parliament with 46.4% of the first votes. In the state election on October 14, 2018 , she was re-elected with 32.2% of the first votes.

In October 2013, she was elected deputy group leader of the CSU in the Bavarian state parliament.

Integration officer

From March 1, 2017 to March 21, 2018, she was the Integration Commissioner of the Bavarian State Government .

Family, Labor and Social Affairs Minister

From March 21, 2018 to February 6, 2020, she was Minister of Family, Labor and Social Affairs under Prime Minister Markus Söder in the Bavarian State Government. She also belonged to the Söder II cabinet , sworn in on November 12, in this function.

Minister for Housing, Construction and Transport

On February 6, 2020, she was appointed Minister for Housing, Building and Transport to the Söder II cabinet . She replaced Hans Reichhart .
