The Bavarian State Ministry for Family, Labor and Social Affairs is a ministry of the Free State of Bavaria based in Munich . Until 2013 it was called the Bavarian State Ministry for Labor and Social Affairs, Family and Women (StMAS). After that it was called the State Ministry for Labor and Social Affairs, Family and Integration until March 2018 .
Tasks and responsibilities
The ministry's range of tasks is diverse. The focus is on socio-political problems and the development of concrete proposed solutions. This includes tasks in the family policy , the labor market policy , the policy on women , the child care of the participation of people with disabilities as well as the policy for senior citizens and emigrants .
