Hans Schütz (born February 14, 1901 in Hemmehübel / Northern Bohemia; † January 24, 1982 in Munich ) was a Sudeten German politician ( DCSV , CSU ).

Life

Schütz was a member of the German Christian Social People's Party and chairman of the Association of German Christian Trade Unions in the first Czechoslovak Republic . From 1935 to 1938 he was a member of the Prague Parliament. In March 1938, Henlein's transfer to the Sudeten German Party (SdP) took place . From October 1938 he was a member of the NSDAP . He was then drafted into the Wehrmacht and fought on the Eastern Front . After his return in 1946, he and Walter Becher founded the working group for the protection of Sudeten German interests in Bavaria and the Ackermann community in the same year .

In 1948/49 Schütz was a member of the Economic Council of the Bizone and chairman of the refugee committee. He was a member of the German Bundestag from its first election in 1949 until February 5, 1963. As a member of parliament that was always directly elected, he represented the constituency of Dillingen in parliament and was a social expert for his party. From 1957 to 1962 he was deputy chairman of the CSU regional group, from 1961 to 1963 chairman of the working group on social issues of the CDU / CSU parliamentary group .

In 1963 he became State Secretary in the Bavarian State Ministry for Labor and Social Welfare . After the resignation of Social Minister Paul Strenkert , he took over his office in 1964 and held it under Alfons Goppel until December 5, 1966. He was no longer represented in the new cabinet .

In 1959 he was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit, in 1967 he was awarded the Great Cross of Merit with Star and Shoulder Ribbon from the Federal Republic of Germany. He was also an honorary member of the KDSt.V. Ferdinandea Prague zu Heidelberg and the KDSt.V. Nordgau Prague Stuttgart in the CV .
