Xu Zhouzheng (born December 26, 1995 ) is a Chinese sprinter who specializes in the 100-meter run .

Athletic career

Xu Zhouzheng gained his first international experience at the Junior Asian Championships 2014 in Taipei , where he was eliminated in the first round over 100 meters and finished seventh with the Chinese 4 x 100 meter relay. In 2017 he took the relay at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar and won the gold medal there with the relay; However, it was only used in the run-up. The following year he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and won the bronze medal behind the teams from Japan and Indonesia in 38.89 seconds with the Chinese relay. In the individual competition over 100 meters he was eliminated with 10.36 s in the semifinals. In 2019 he reached the semi-finals at the Asian Championships in Doha , where he was eliminated with 10.36 seconds. He was also used in the season in advance. With his performance he qualified for the first time for the World Championships in Doha, where he was eliminated with 10.37 s in the run . In 2018, Xu became the Chinese champion in the 100-meter run.
