Bandit Chuangchai (born July 22, 1993 ) is a Thai athlete who specializes in sprinting .

Athletic career

Bandit Chuangchai gained his first international experience at the 2015 Asian Championships in Wuhan , where he was eliminated in the semi-finals in the 100-meter run with 10.69 seconds. Two years later, at the Asian Championships in Bhubaneswar, the end in the second round with 11.35 s followed. He won the silver medal behind the Chinese in 39.38 s with the Thai 4 x 100 meter relay. He then won the season in 38.90 s at the Southeast Asian Games in Kuala Lumpur and came in fifth at the Summer Universiade in Taipei with the season after 39.22 s. At the beginning of September he was seventh over 60 meters in 6.83 s at the Asian Indoor & Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat . The following year he took part in the Asian Games in Jakarta for the first time and was eliminated there with 10.57 s in the semi-finals, while he came in sixth place with the relay in 39.29 s. In 2019 he won the Asian Championships in Doha with the relay in 38.99 s. At the end of October he reached the military world games in Wuhan over 100 meters to the semifinals and was eliminated there with 10.81 s, while he reached fourth place with the relay in 39.81 s. He then won the bronze medal over 100 meters at the Southeast Asian Games in Capas in 10.52 seconds behind the Malaysian Muhammad Haiqal Hanafi and his compatriot Ruttanapon Sowan . He also won the relay in 39.27 s.
